Mirror

YES

I've been there before

The emotions that you get by listening to the song

and of course by listening carefully to the lyrics as well

it explained what I went through

back in the days...dark days I guess

I was lost but now I am found

Things happen

not only to me but I bet 

to you guys as well

It was right after I graduated from High School

I felt hopeless and stuck

and nobody could understand me

I remember feeling lonely,

Stuck,

hopeless,

confused,

and

Angry

It was really painful

I was searching for something or somebody

whom I could talk to

or at least channel the pain away

Then I started talking to the mirror

*Literally*

I really felt that the mirror was the only one who could understand me

SADLY

~Sounds like a disorder~

I know

BUT

then AMY WINEHOUSE said to me

"I can't help you, if you can't help yourself"

Then I look at me

straight on my face and say

"I can't help you if you can't help yourself"

AMY WINEHOUSE saved me from my depression

for a few days only

That's all I remember I guess before I surrendered my life

to the LIGHT

"The Way, The Truth and the LIFE"

Then after that

"I LOVE MY LIFE"

because it is filled with love and grace

Yeah

Life good now

I'm not crazy anymore...

But this song!

Reminded me of my dark and painful life

that I went through

It speaks to me

I kinda like it

even though it sounds depressing because it reminded me of those days

BUT

at the same time

It tells me how strong I am today

I grew up and I survived

Oh! Darling

I couldn’t concentrate on doing my homework just now so I grabbed my guitar and made a quick cover of The Beatles, Oh! Darling. This is one of my favorite songs by The Beatles. Deal with the imperfections when you’re listening.  Adios. Soli Deo Gloria.

Writer Block

I need to write a narrative paper. Personal Narrative paper but I can't think of anything. It has to be related to a community. I chose the Malaysian Community here at UNL cause I think my classmates would get interested! Maybe...hopefully...and most of all I just wanna get it DONE as soon as possible! I'm a BUSY man y'all (and I'm wasting my time posting this blog)

I got a new phone!

I got an iPhone 4s and it's really cool and pricy...I know. But never mind I earned the cash by working in the lab. It's worth it I guess. It makes my life easier and somehow organized a little bit. Love it!

Caroling

Last Sunday me and the NUMSA committee and some other people
 went to Tabitha Hopital (Old Folks Hospital)

and we sang Christmas Carols!!

CAROLING!!

This was my very first time

singing Christmas Carols

to "someone who really need JOY in their life" (This is an assumption)

 I had fun and BLESSED

There's this one old lady who won't smile when I say

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

It was awkward

because I never been to this kind of situation before

but then one of my friend approached her and say

Merry Christmas

Then she smiled

with sad eyes

well at least she smiled...

Anyway

I really enjoyed doing this

and I'm looking forward on doing this kind of stuff

in the FUTURE!
